#2 Mark of Cain and Ahab

After he killed his brother Abel, Cain was marked with a mark that protected him from others trying to kill him. The mark warned that if he was murdered, his death would be avenged. In the same way, Ahab has a mark that reminds him of past unfortunate events. This mark is his peg leg, since he lost his leg to Moby Dick. He seeks revenge against Moby Dick, which he had formerly attempted to kill. His lost leg serves as a reminder of what he did and warns others about him. Some of his qualities include: Powerful, driven, slightly mad, split personality, and mysterious and shady. These qualities are also reflected in his appearance.
