Chapter 10- Alissa Davis, Kelsey Fritz, Lindsay Miller

Psychologically within, Ishamael has melted his ego, become whole with his full identity and is now at peace with the world, inside and out. The marriage symbolizes a full bonding of companionship and friendship, just like an actual marriage, with the complete friendship and love for each other without the physical aspect of marriage. Ishmael has accepted his inner self and how he is, his ego, and is now at peace and has a balanced, harmonious center. He is redeemed because he is now no longer against the world. He is no longer an outsider because he has a friend. Before it, he was against the world and God, now that he has accepted a friend and grown inside to a more balanced whole, he accepts the world and God more fully.

I'm afraid the evidence doesn't support your conclusion. On what do you base the claim that Ishmael accepts the world and God. How does this square with his being the outsider?
